The course makes extensive use of practical exercises and continues on
from the Mercury LoadRunner training, covering:
- Advanced Virtual Users - Covers creating scalable, robust virtual users that better emulate real-users. Topics include randomising selections, error handling and controller feedback.
- Industry Standards - The current standards for areas such as page download times and site abandonment.
- Best Practices - Covers the do's and don'ts of load testing. Topics include Load Test Objectives, Naming Conventions, Documentation and Recording Tips.
- Load Testing - The mechanics of load testing. Topics include the different types of load test, typical scenarios to emulate, checklists and server monitors.
- Analysing Results - The art of analysing results. Topics include Selecting KPIs, Which Graphs to Choose, Creating Baseline Results and Finding Bottlenecks.
- LoadRunner C Programming - Covers the basic C programming needed to create advanced virtual users. Topics include C Programming Basics, Program Logic, Useful C Functions and In-House Header Files.
The course can be delivered from our Training Centre or as a one company on-site course using your training facilities.
