Introduction

SB/Backup Control provides you with an effective method of backup and recovery for your AS/400 system.

You define the libraries, folders, or directories you want to save in a backup list and decide the type of library backup you want to perform - you can choose from full library save or an incremental changed objects save. SB/Backup Control saves the objects for you and formats the backups so that it can restore the objects automatically. You can also restore the libraries, folder, and directories manually using OS/400 commands.

SB/Backup Control keeps a full history of the backups you perform and provides you with options to interrogate them interactively. Additionally SB/Backup Control creates a Backup History report that details the backups that you require to rebuild your system in the event of a disaster.
