Key Purpose:
To actively chase, promote and develop all sales and business opportunities for StarBase, maximising revenue streams, optimising Consultant saleability whilst ensuring targets are met.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop new and existing Client base by demonstrating a variety of sales techniques, ie, cold calling, business intelligence, networking and information gathering, active account management
- Actively promote the Company at appropriate business forums
- Demonstrate ability to work within the full sales account management lifecycle
- Actively network within the business community to effectively market the Organisation and its’ offerings
- Work with Project Co-ordinator to ensure that demand meets resource wherever practical
- Optimise sales opportunities for any forecasted “down-time”
- Ensure that all sales opportunities pursued meet minimum commercial targets
- Attend sales meetings with potential and existing clients to assess sales potential
- Identify target clients for future potential on a month by month basis
- Identify sectors appropriate for targeted sales activity
- Contribute to the Sales strategy process as appropriate
- Demonstrate values consistent with StarBase ethos
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record in sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Planning and organisation
- Strong Business acumen
- Proven sales background
- Client facing experience
- Comes from within the Industry
- Team player
- Good level of commercial understanding
- Telesales or telemarketing in B2B environment
- Experience of selling in IT environment, preferably Professional Services
