Business Development/Sales Manager

 

Key Purpose:

 

To actively chase, promote and develop all sales and business opportunities for StarBase, maximising revenue streams, optimising Consultant saleability whilst ensuring targets are met.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Develop new and existing Client base by demonstrating a variety of sales techniques, ie, cold calling, business intelligence, networking and information gathering, active account management
  • Actively promote the Company at appropriate business forums
  • Demonstrate ability to work within the full sales account management lifecycle
  • Actively network within the business community to effectively market the Organisation and its’ offerings
  • Work with Project Co-ordinator to ensure that demand meets resource wherever practical
  • Optimise sales opportunities for any forecasted “down-time”
  • Ensure that all sales opportunities pursued meet minimum commercial targets
  • Attend sales meetings with potential and existing clients to assess sales potential
  • Identify target clients for future potential on a month by month basis
  • Identify sectors appropriate for targeted sales activity
  • Contribute to the Sales strategy process as appropriate
  • Demonstrate values consistent with StarBase ethos
