Business Development Manager

We require an experienced Business Development Manager/ Sales Manager/Sales Executive to join our existing team based in Borehamwood on the border of Hertfordshire and Middlesex. The role offers an attractive salary with uncapped commission and an executive benefit package.

 

About the role:

This is a key role, we are looking for somebody who is able to grow a sustainable pipeline, and generate sufficient new business to ensure sales target are met. You will be selling Software Testing services to new and existing clients, so any in experience selling consultancy and software testing would be ideal. Applicants must be able to demonstrate good business acumen, and hit the ground running in terms of their IT services knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan personal sales activities and develop new and existing client base by a variety of sales techniques, i.e. business intelligence, networking and information gathering, active account management and cold calling.
  • Actively network within the business community to effectively market StarBase Services.
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate externally and internally.
  • Demonstrate ability to work within the full sales account management lifecycle.
  • Qualify sales leads to assess sales effort required, likelihood of winning the business and potential turnover/profitability of the lead.

We are HP gold partner, and you will be required to manage product/service mix, pricing and margins.

To be suitable for the role you must be based within commutable distance to our office and willing to travel to clients as and when needed.

Base salary for the Business Development Manager role is dependent on your experience with £120K-£150K OTE (Uncapped commission), private healthcare, non-contributory pension, car allowance and 25 days holiday.
