We want to give you the very best start in your role at StarBase, so all new employees experience

an extensive induction. Our Probation Steps Process is the best way to get you up to speed with

our business and engage you in the work as quickly as possible. We will make sure you

understand our business and its uniqueness and are equipped with the tools to deliver in your

role.

Tailored training

After induction, you will be involved in tailored training suitable for your position in order to give

you the support you need to be really great in your role.

Growing your career

We know that development is important to you. It is important to us too and that is why we will

work with you to help grow your talent throughout your career with us.

There is a wide range of training sessions available to you at all stages of your development in

any role. Whether this is a training plan to help strengthen your technical skills, courses

to develop your business and management skills or coaching to prepare you for a bigger role.

Technical Skills

StarBase make use of the market leading testing tools. We are an HP Gold Partner and we

undertake projects with LoadRunner, GreenHat, JMeter, and in a Performance Center

environment. 

In many roles there could be an opportunity for you to learn new testing tools. We are keen to

encourage all our people to develop and grow their careers and so training requests will always be

considered.

Personal Development Plan

You will also have the opportunity to create a Personal Development Plan with your manager. This

will be tailored to meet your abilities and aspirations and to help you to progress through the

company at your ideal pace. Once the plan has been drawn up we will see that you get precisely

the right training for the role you are working towards.

Professional qualifications

In many roles at StarBase there is an opportunity for us to support you with industry recognised

professional qualifications such as ISEB for Software Testing, or IoC CMCE

for Business Consulting.
