If your business is fast moving and demands new applications and application updates on a
regular basis the ideal scenario is to develop a testing “Centre of Excellence” approach.
However, with pressure on resources and costs that can be difficult, particularly when software
testing might not beseen as a core function of the business.
Our software performance testing experience, built up
over more than 20 years working with major customers
in financial services, retailing, media and the public
sector, has enabled us to develop best practice expertise
and processes that we have harnessed to deliver
end-to-end performance testing capability in a fully
managed environment.
We call this our Performance Factory which we are able
to offer to our clients who are looking
for a long-term relationship that maximises productivity and quality and minimises costs.
Without StarBase’s factory approach, there is no way we would have been able to deliver the volume of performance testing projects created by the Aviva name change.
- Shawn Foster, Non-Functional Test Manager, Aviva UK
How it works
Based either onsite or at the StarBase offices, our software testing factory will maximise
the use of the valuable resources of people and tools by implementing a production line.
For instance project C will be in planning whilst project B is being scripted
and project A is being performance tested, all of which are subject to the rigours
of our proven Load Test Methodology and robust project management processes.
The benefits to your organisation
We take away the pain of managing multiple testing schedules and you can be assured
that the impact of costly downtime can be eliminated because the expensive
resources can be diverted to the next project on the production line until the
blocking issues are resolved.
